Sarbani Roy is Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jadavpur
University. She obtained her M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from University
of Calcutta, India in 2002. She received a Ph.D. degree in Engineering from Jadavpur University,
Kolkata, India in 2008. She was awarded Fulbright-Nehru Senior Research fellowship in 2013-
2014 and joined the research program at University of North Carolina, Charlotte, USA. She
has to her credit more than 100 technical papers, which include 4 book chapters, 19 peer-reviewed scientific journal publications and more than 85 conference publications. She co-authored one book, Building Wireless Sensor Networks: Theoretical and Practical Perspectives
(CRC Press, 2015). Her research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks, IoT, Cloud,
Social Network Analysis and Societal Applications. She has been involved in technical
program committees, organizing committees for many international conferences and also acted
as a reviewer for many international conferences and journals. She is a senior member of IEEE
and member of ACM.

Presently, Tanmoy Maitra is an Assistant Professor, School of Computer Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar-751024, Odisha, India. He did his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Jadavpur University, Kolkata-700032, India. He passed M.Tech. and B.E. from Haldia Institute of Technology (WBUT) in 2013 and University Institute of Technology (Burdwan University) in 2009 respectively. He qualified GATE 2011 and GATE 2012. He did his schooling from Bethuadahari J.C.M High School. He has published several book chapters, and journal and conference articles in the domain of wireless sensor networks (WSNs), body area network (BAN) and authentication system for several applications. He is also a reviewer of many reputed journals. He served as a TPC member of several conferences. He was the Organizing and Finance Chair of ICMC 2019. His research interest includes Wireless Sensor Networks, Body Area Network, and Information Security. He is the member of the IEEE.

Have been working in the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Center of Excellence, Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. (RJIL), Bangalore. Previously worked as a cloud infrastructure architect in the IBM Global Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE), IBM India Bangalore for four years. Prior to that, I had a long stint as TOGAF-certified enterprise architecture (EA) consultant in Wipro Consulting Services (WCS) Division. Also worked as a lead architect in the corporate research (CR) division of Robert Bosch, Bangalore. In total, I have gained more than 17 years of IT industry experience and 8 years of research experience. Finished the CSIR-sponsored PhD degree at Anna University, Chennai and continued with the UGC-sponsored postdoctoral research in the Department of Computer Science and Automation, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Thereafter, I was granted a couple of international research fellowships (JSPS and JST) to work as a research scientist for 3.5 years in two leading Japanese universities. Published more than 30 research papers in peer-reviewed journals such as IEEE, ACM, Springer-Verlag, Inderscience, etc. Have authored 8 books thus far and focus on some of the emerging technologies such as IoT, Cognitive Analytics, Blockchain, Digital Twin, Docker Containerization, Data Science, Microservices Architecture, fog / edge computing, etc. Have contributed 30 book chapters thus far for various technology books edited by highly acclaimed and accomplished professors and professionals.

R. Al-Ali (SM IEEE) received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering and a minor in computer science from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, USA, Master degree from Polytechnic Institute of New York, USA, and B.Sc.EE from Aleppo University, Syria. Professor Al-Ali worked as an associate/assistant professor in KFUPM, Saudi Arabia (1991- 2000), and has been a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the American University of Sharjah (UAE) since 2000. His research and teaching interests include; embedded systems hardware and software architectures, smart homes automations, smart grid evolutions and development, smart factories and cities. Professor Al-Ali has many conference and journal publications including two USA and European Patents.
